Los Angeles, CA– Today, Allison Holdorff Polhill’s campaign for Los Angeles City Council announced new endorsements from small business owners in District 11, who join a robust list of community leaders supporting Holdorff Polhill.
“As a real estate broker and apartment owner in Los Angeles committed to helping house our unhoused neighbors, including a family living in an encampment in Westchester Park, I believe Allison is the leader we need to cut through the red tape at City Hall and finally solve our homelessness crisis,” said real estate broker Charles Chung.
“It takes real skills and experience to navigate the bureaucratic processes that stall progress in our city. Allison is the first candidate of the race to create a Business Advisory Committee to provide insight on how to support businesses throughout the district. When she’s elected, Allison won’t be afraid to support and advocate for small business owners like myself. I have known her for 25 years and she is tough as nails, having participated in my kickboxing classes,” said martial arts studio owner Gerry Blanck.
“Allison Holdorff Polhill has devoted her career to helping her community thrive. As a restaurant owner in Venice, I am confident that Allison will listen, respond and take action. We have seen this firsthand – thanks to Allison, we have a thriving gifted program that is very valuable to students at Mark Twain Middle School. Allison will represent our best interests and address our most pressing concerns,” said Carlos and Belen Haro, owners of Casablanca Restaurant.
