Westchester

Allison will be the champion we need in Westchester. Allison has secured tens of millions in funds for facilities improvements, academic, health and wellness, and athletic programs at our local schools. Responding to a request from the Westchester/Playa Neighborhood Council, Allison led efforts to open a school park for the community. Allison has supported the LAX Coastal Chamber of Commerce and Education Foundation events for the last 5 years.

    Allison is authentic, readily available to her constituents and even gives out her cell phone number!!  Whenever we had a concern, we called Allison because we knew she would listen and get it done.  She has never failed me! I am endorsing her because I know she will represent us, listen to us, and get the job done!

    Allison served as the Board of Education’s point person for Venice High School’s comprehensive modernization with state-of-the-art facilities and advocated for maintaining the community garden and renovating the school’s historic auditorium.

    Brentwood, West LA

    Allison Holdorff Polhill has been instrumental in helping us increase our instructional time by allowing our students to eat before school. The increased instructional time has helped improve reading and math for all students.

    As a principal, I first met Allison when she was an active parent volunteer before I witnessed her admirable leadership and experienced her invaluable support in her role. Allison’s character evidence superior listening skills, quick resolutions, trustworthy relationships, caring leadership traits and a reputation that has earned Allison the nickname “The Fixer.” Allison helped me “fix” several issues that had a positive impact in our school and community. Los Angeles City council District 11 deserves a Councilperson like Allison, who exemplifies confident, competent, and ethical leadership and will listen and serve the people of Los Angeles with integrity, commitment, and pride.

    At Uni High School in West LA, Allison worked to strengthen partnerships with the YMCA and other non-profit entities that support the incredible programming offered at the school.

      I have worked with Allison for years in Community efforts. I was always impressed at the work she has done and the leadership she commanded. She would make a fantastic City Council member. She is really the only candidate with the experience, perseverance, and plans to get the job done

Allison has worked and lived in the Palisades community for 26 years improving our community and schools – serving on all of the school boards and our community council. She is the only candidate that has a fire safety preparedness plan. Allison helped deliver $20 million to Palisades High School to fund the school’s air conditioning. She developed fire safety evacuation protocols should fire or smoke/air quality be unsafe for students and faculty or traffic from school would impede evacuation efforts for surrounding neighborhoods.
