The NWPC-LA Westside supports women’s voices on all levels of government.
Los Angeles, CA- Today, Allison Holdorff Polhill announced that the National Women’s Political Caucus, Los Angeles Westside (NWPC- LA Westside) is endorsing her campaign for Los Angeles City Council in District 11.
The National Women’s Political Caucus was created in 1971 and dedicates its bipartisan, grassroots efforts to elevate women’s voices in all levels of government. The LA Westside chapter recruits, trains and supports pro-choice female candidates running for office in Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, Culver City, Santa Monica, Malibu and other unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County.
“The National Women’s Political Caucus – LA Westside is proud to endorse Allison Holdorff Polhill for LA City Council. Allison is the champion we need in City Hall and the best candidate in this race to represent women’s interests,” said Tori Chica, NWPC- LA Westside’s Director of Political Action.“We’ve seen the tenacity, creativity, and bold leadership that women bring to elected office. If elected, Allison would be the 4th woman on the City Council out of 15 members.”
“As the only mother in the race and one of only two women running for City Council in District 11, this endorsement is especially meaningful to me. Women are underrepresented in our local government, and we must do everything we can to protect women’s rights and ensure that Los Angeles is a safe haven for women. As your City Councilmember, I will prioritize this fight for all women,” said Allison Holdorff Polhill.
