23 Principals & School Leaders Endorse Allison Holdorff Polhill for City Council

School Leaders Represent Wide Swath of Public Schools In and Around Council District 11

LOS ANGELES — Today, Allison Holdorff Polhill’s campaign for Los Angeles City Council announced endorsements from 23 elementary, middle and high school principals and leaders from schools in and adjacent to Council District 11.

“It is incredibly humbling to receive the endorsements of each of these school principals across the district. Having their support energizes me and makes me even more committed to fighting for the safety of everyone, especially that of our young people. As your City Councilmember, I look forward to collaborating with school principals and other administration officials,” said Allison Holdorff Polhill.

“Allison has been a fierce supporter of University High. I cannot thank her enough for advocating to save our critical after school program, increase resources for staffing, and many other hands-on endeavors,” said Uni High Principal Claudia Middleton. “Whenever I reached out, Allison immediately responded to my calls and inquiries. Her work will be at a grand scale at the city level, and I am certain that she will do an amazing job.”

“I first met Allison when she was an active parent volunteer before I witnessed her admirable leadership and experienced her invaluable support in her role at LAUSD. Allison’s character evidenced superior listening skills, quick resolutions, trustworthy relationships, caring leadership traits and a reputation that has earned Allison the nickname ‘The Fixer.’ Los Angeles District 11 deserves a Councilmember like Allison, who exemplifies confident, competent and ethical leadership and will listen and serve the people of Los Angeles with integrity, commitment and pride,” said former Principal Moren of Kenter Canyon Elementary School.

Allison Holdorff Polhill has been making a difference for her entire adult life living on LA’s Westside — as a public servant, educator, environmentalist, attorney, and parent.

That’s why Allison is running for LA City Council in District 11 — to cut through the red tape and deliver solutions to the unhoused crisis, protect the environment, improve transportation, address crime and other tough challenges at City Hall.

Allison recently served as chief advisor and district director to the vice president of the Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD), serving the communities of Westchester, Playa Vista, Playa Del Rey, Marina Del Rey, Venice, Mar Vista, West Los Angeles, Pacific Palisades, Brentwood, and Del Rey.
